WHY JOIN FBLA?

FBLA promotes leadership development

at district, state and national levels.
Participating in FBLA conferences offers
members the opportunity to form useful
and lasting networks. Members come in
contact with state and /or national staff.
These contacts foster a better
understanding of the FBLA-PBL
structure and state/national programs.

Our FBLA members have the
opportunity to attend the District Fall
Conference held in Pine Bluff. At this
one day conference the students and
advisers will participate in professional
development, attend chapter building
workshops and be able to network and
share ideas with other chapters.
The Spring Conference for District III
will be held in Pine Bluff. Students will
compete in business events to qualify to
compete at the State Conference.
Students will also have the opportunity
to attend workshops, listen to a keynote
speaker and network with other students.

The State Leadership Conference will be
in Little Rock and is an overnight trip.
Our students will compete with students
from all over the state to qualify to go to
the National Leadership. This conference
features the competitive events, a
keynote speaker, a variety of leadership
workshop, and the election of state
officers. Students who qualify in the
competitive events advance to Nationals.

At the National Leadership Conference
students participate in competitive
events, attend business-related and
leadership development workshops, tour
businesses and corporate facilities, and
elect national officers. This year the
FBLA National Leadership Conference
is in Chicago, IL.
