way, please sign up on the sheet on the table in the narthex.
-Know how to sew? Want to contribute to MCC's work around the world? We
need your help! The Mennonite World Conference planning committee has
commissioned MCC's MRC in Ephrata, Pa., to sew 10,000 bags in preparation for
the upcoming Mennonite World Conference Assembly to be held in Harrisburg, Pa.,
in July 2015. We also need volunteers to assemble and sew MCC scarves for
Mennonite World Conference Assembly as well as for denominational meetings.
This project generates income for MCC and repurposes used clothing donations.
Please call the MRC at (717) 733-2847 to schedule a time to volunteer.

deleted from the current schedule, please talk to Shelby. Thank you!

for Freedom Gate. If you would be willing to pick up these items please see Steve.

throughout August. Please plan to meet at the church at 6:45 if youd like to go
along!
-Middle School and High School Students: Would you be interested in joining our
mentor program? The goal of this program is to match up MS/HS students with
adults in our congregation who will invest time in getting to know you, pray for
you, encourage you and have fun with you! If you are interested in being a part of
this program, please talk to Kelly Horning.
-Would you enjoy helping young girls to have fun and grow in faith in Jesus?
We need JGA leaders. JGA (Jr. Girls Association) is for girls in grades 2-5, and is
one of a series of monthly programs for children and youth run in cooperation
between Bowmansville, Gehman, and Red Run Mennonite Churches. JGA meets at
Bowmansville Mennonite Church from 7-8:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of
the month during the school year. Interested? Please contact Pastor Phil.
