FRIDAY .
The rummage sale, to be held
by the members of the
ladies Auxiliary will begin
Friday morning at 10 am at
the Hall. This sale will
run for three days, the 28tb
thru the 30lli, beginning at
10 am each day and lasting
until 8 pm. ,
f\.1rs . Bruce RobinsoQ. of the
announced that many
items had been donated by
merchants in Anchorage (most-
ly children's clothes). These
will probably be the first to
go, so anyone interested had
better be there early.
'l'here will also be a large
selection of potted house
plants for sale . Most of
these plants had been pre-
pared and donated to the aux-
iliary by !Irs . Guy Johnson
of mile 22.
Boxes of rummage have also
been donated by Val Whiteman,
Deputy Chief of Staff 9f the
Alaska Auxiliary of the VF\'1.
The goal of the auxiliary
is to raise money to purchase

will soon leave for their
homestead on the. Sterling
Highway, which will now
be their permanent home.

The McGanns plan to op-
erate a retreat for sport-
smen and vacationers, with
trailer space, cabins,
store, cafe etc. This
should prove an ideal lo-
cation for such an under-
taking with 1ts

fishing and clam digging
of that area.
The new proprietors of
the Shopping Center are
fli.r. and Hrs. Jim Bradley
recently of Spenard and
originally from Idaho.
Ella i-lae wishes everyone
to know that the Bradleys
intend to continue

same manner as did the
McGanns and will offer th
same fine service . She
hopes that all of their
friends and customers wil

store and make the Bradley
