A Festival of Fun sponoored
by the Chugiak PTA, and run by
the school students themselv-
is scheduled to take place

play.
Highlight of the day will
be the auction, at which
residents cf Chugiak are in-
vited to bring unwanted it-
ems t o be put up f or bid.
The PTA is seeking any
furniture, appliances, cr
most any usable white ele-
phants which they will auc-
tion for either a percentage,
or whatever the donor wishes
t o offer.

The Chugiak Health Council,
with the money raised at the
Friendly Neighbor Charity
Bazaar along with. contribut-
ions from other community org-
inizations and merchants , was
able to "pay in full" the am-
ount due for community health
Service through July of l960e
In a letter to Mrs. Ralph
Long, president of the Chug-
ink Health Council, Paul L
Commissioner of the
llaska Department of Health
and !"/elfare offered thanks
for the check for $600 from
the Chugiak Health Council,
and commended the people of
this community on their fine
work in raising these funds.
Chugikk was praised ns be-
ing the only community which
has consistantly met this ob-
ligation stands as a fine
example of community cooper-
ation and understanding of
the health needs which this
