" . In my credit
is due the Chugiak Firemen
for their quick action and
fast thinking in the serv-
ices they rendered Tuesday
night, April 18lli. I feel
that they were definitely
responsible for saving a
life.
At 12.53am, an accident
occurred in front of my
lodge a nd a man sev-
erely injured due to very
slick road conditions. I
summoned the Chugiak Fire-
men and the State Police,
and in ten minutes time,
the firemen were at the
scene of the accident and
had the victim on his way
to the hospital in Anchor-
age. They stayed out in
the cold and directed traff
fie for hours until the
road tias cleared.
