The gas tubine eIuies a stating mechanism to s!in the main sha0t initially" and once the tubine eaches its
ated s!eed this mechanism detaches automatically$ This stating !ocess nomally uses an electic moto to s!in
the main tubine sha0t$ The moto is bolted to the outside o0 the engine and uses a sha0t and geas to connect to
the main sha0t$ The electic moto s!ins the main sha0t until thee is enough ai blo4ing though the com!esso
and the combustion chambe to light the tubine$ ?uel stats 0lo4ing and an ignite simila to a s!a5 !lug ignites
the 0uel$ Then 0uel 0lo4 is inceased to s!in the engine u! to its o!eating s!eed
