• Catholic Charities of Sacramento invites you to Adopt-a-Family for Christmas
2009. Many families in our communities struggle financially, especially at Christmas
time. Each year, we coordinate the Adopt-a-Family program at Christmas time to help
out families in need. You can help one of these families out by “adopting” them for
Christmas.
Donors provide gifts of toys, food and clothing for families who would otherwise receive
very little or nothing at all, such as individually wrapped gifts (toys or clothing) for each
family member, with each gift marked with the name of the recipient, a grocery store gift
card or non-perishable food items. After you sign up to adopt-a-family, we send out
information and suggestions for gifts. We'll also tell you when and where to drop off your
gifts for your family.
