The inspiration for
the Light Source
logo was taken
from the name of
the company, but
also the shape of
a simple everyday
light bulb. We liked the simplistic lines created
by the light buld filament and the clear bulb, so
we used that.
For the design of our van and the
process book, we took our colors from
pictures of an
illuminated
bulb to egt the
warmth we
wanted in out
color scheme.

The sketches show how text
arrangement as well as the placement
of the lightbulb
were thought
out.

The final design of our
logo was chosen mostly
because of the simplicity of
the design and the text. We
felt that it best matched the
personality of our business. It
incorporates a sleek,
confident look, but also
emphasizes
sensibility with the use of the
light bulb. We want the logo
to be something that can
stand the test of time, and be
easy to recognize. The final
logo has come from a line
rough drafts and we felt that it
has the strongest design we
could come up with. ,

We chose the fonts that we did because
wewanted the tect to portray a sense of
confidence. We wanted to have some
nice bold text contrasted with some
thinner text in order to create some depth
with text variation.
We chose the
colors that I did
because we wanted
strong contrast, but also
to create a sense of
warmth while
representing light. We
also wanted to keep
my colors simple to
follow the design of the
logo and the process
