Short Tender Notice No: DRM/RJT/2009-2010/10 Date: 06/12/2009

Sealed OPEN tenders for and on behalf of President of India are invited by The Divisional Railway Manager
(Engg.), Western Railway, Rajkot on prescribed forms for the following works. The tender forms non-refundable will
be issued up to 11.00 hrs., on the date shown against the each work and received up to 15.00 hrs and opened at
15.30 hours on the same day. The tenders not accompanied by Earnest Money, which is required to be deposited
in any of the forms, as indicated in the tender copy will be summarily rejected. In case of Tender Document to be
purchased from the office, Tender fees under Indian Postal order, Demand Draft and Money Order will not be
accepted. It should be remitted with any of the Station Master of the Western Railway and money receipt in original
should be produced to Divisional Railway Manager Office, Engineering Department, Western Railway, Kothi
compound, Rajkot for obtaining the tender form up to 17.00 hours of working day, not earlier than 15 days before
the date of opening. If the tender document is required by post Rs.500/- extra to be paid with the tender fee.
Earnest Money receipt should be in the name of Divisional Finance Manager, Western Railway, Rajkot. The tender
document will be available on Western Railway website i.e. www.wr. indianrail. gov.in and the same can be
downloaded.

Tender No.DRM/RJT/09/102 : Name of work – Group work- Providing Adarsh station at okha, Improvement to
circulating area-entry/exit parking lot etc., face lifting of station façade, improvement to booking counters, waiting
hall, concourse, platform surface and addition/alteration to station building, up gradation of passenger amenities by
providing standard water fountains, water hut, waiting room, cover shed etc. approx.cost-Rs. 7950000/-, Earnest
money-Rs. 159000/-, Tender fee-Rs. 5000/-.Completion period- 04 months, Opening date- 31.12.09. Similar
Work: Any Civil Engineering Work.

Eligibility Criteria: (As given below are applicable only open tenders costing above Rs.20 lakhs) only such
tenderer/firm need to apply who satisfies with following criteria)

1 Should have completed at the time of opening of At least one similar single work for minimum
tender in the last 3 financial years (i.e. current year
value of 35 % of advertised tender value of
and three previous financial years) work
2 Total contract amount received during the last Should be a minimum of 150% of advertised
three financial years and in the current financial tender value of work as per attested payment
year certificate from the employer / client, audited
balance sheet duly certified by the chartered
accountant etc.
“If the tenderer fails to submit any proof for meeting with eligibility criteria as prescribed above with the
tender document while submitting the offer, the offers should be considered as incomplete and should be
summarily rejected.”
