Sept. 6, Sat.-at 6 p.m. movie night at church showing "Mom's Night Out".

Sept. 17, Wed.-The Bible Released Program for the coming school year will be
beginning on Sept. 17

. Interested Adamstown Elementary students in grades 3-5
are excused from school for one hour each Wed. for Bible instruction and scripture
memorization. If you enjoy sharing Gods Word with children and are available 11
a.m.-1 p.m. on Wed., please considering joining others in our church family by
serving as a volunteer (Contact Sylvia or Darlene for more info). Please pray that
God would use this time with the students to have an eternal impact in their lives.

-Consider joining the Mennonite Children's Choir of Lancaster Prelude Music
class, a non-auditioned exploratory music program for children in kindergarten
through grade 2. Classes are held on Tues. evenings at 5:15 p.m. or 6:15 p.m. from
late Sept. through April at Blossom Hill Mennonite Church, Lancaster.

-The nursery schedule is being updated. If you would like your name added or

-This month is our congregations turn to supply groceries and household items
for Freedom Gate. If you would be willing to pick up these items please see Steve.
We will also be providing a bible study for the residents there on Tuesday evenings
throughout August. Please plan to meet at the church at 6:45 p.m. if youd like to
go along!
-Middle School and High School Students: Would you be interested in joining our
mentor program? The goal of this program is to match up MS/HS students with
adults in our congregation who will invest time in getting to know you, pray for
you, encourage you and have fun with you! If you are interested in being a part of
this program, please talk to Kelly Horning.
-Would you enjoy helping young girls to have fun and grow in faith in Jesus?
We need JGA leaders. JGA (Jr. Girls Association) is for girls in grades 2-5, and is
one of a series of monthly programs for children and youth run in cooperation
between Bowmansville, Gehman, and Red Run Mennonite Churches. JGA meets at
Bowmansville Mennonite Church from 7-8:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of
