For your planning purposes keep these points in mind: *Reserving the clubhouse does not include exclusive pool usage. The pool remains open to all residents. *For a large gathering with several non-resident guests driving to Timberwalk, owners will need to plan for their visitors to utilize Maplewood Park due to the limited parking spaces at our clubhouse/pool. Resident Reminder: Keeping Our Pool Gate Closed Our pool gate is locked for safety and liability purposes in compliance with the code for residential pool safety. Not having a complete barrier around the perimeter of the pool is a violation of Section R4101.17 of the 2004 FL Building Code-R. Click for More . Additionally, only Timberwalk owners may purchase the non- reproducible Medco key through the Property Manager, (advantagepm@bellsouth.net), or the Welcome Committee (hellotimberwalk@aol.com) Are You Up to Date? Algae are the base of the food chain and essential to the life in a lake. Algae are primary producers grazed upon by fish, which are eaten by bigger fish, and on up the food chain. A productive lake produces fish as well as supporting food and habitat for wildlife and waterfowl. In this context most algae are desirable for lakes. Click for More At this time of the year, our lake does change and may appear unsightly, but it is a temporary and necessary process for it to stay healthy for us and the animals to enjoy. Remember: Springtime the flowers bloom and so will our lake algae. Poolside Lounge Chairs The Board is pleased to announce that 14 pool lounge chairs have just been returned from being re-strapped. The HOA asks for your cooperation to maintain the look and extend the life of these chairs by using a towel, or cover to lie on. The chemicals in sun blocks and lotions are contributing culprits for the discoloration and deterioration of the chair straps. In a few months, as the funds become available, the other 14 loungers will be cycled through for repair and restoration. I Have A Question? Q: Who is responsible for trimming trees that were not done during the annual pruning the last few years, which are either behind my unit, next to my unit, hanging over my patio, touching my unit/roof, or pose a potential hazard to my property during a storm?-(a combination question from 4+ owners) A: Contact our Board VP, Rick, liaison with our landscape company Horizon, with your specific detailed concerns, your name, unit and phone numbers. Including photos will be beneficial. Timberwalk Calendar Monthly HOA Board meeting, the 4th Tuesday of each month, at 7:00PM, in the Club House All residents are welcome.
