Emotional Intelligence
The leader needs to have the ability to control him/herself and have a sense of consent with others. Being
able to express and feel ones emotion is a great ability but the ability to control it is more important in a social
setting. The leader needs to be able to listen to complaints that the group is currently experiencing and feel
sympathetic to make the changes. It is also crucial not to be swayed by every comments the group is having,
which is being self and situation aware. It is not only important to feel sympathetic but when the leader knows if
the group is misunderstanding the concept, s/he needs to be persuasive in gaining support. Being able to make
personal sacrices, whether it is changing the idea or working more hours, is an important attribute of a leader.

Personality
The leader should have an honorable and accountable personality, which includes being humble and
moral. This attitude of staying low will make the leader easily approachable for the members, which gives the
leader an advantage of gaining more information within the group (ex. comments). By having good morals, the
leader is considered with good ethics and is accountable in making decisions for the group as a whole. Whether or
not the decision will bring the highest outcome, it is known for a fact that it will be the best decision in the long-run
as an entity. Sometimes it takes a leader to take the blame and be responsible, which needs high self-condence
as well. Other personality/ characters of being charismatic will follow through with the academic and social skills
that the leader has. Lastly, these personality will allow the leader to have a positive attitude and an open mindset in
different situations. (This attitude and mindset allows the Leader to think and assess the situation differently)

Vision, Process, or Work
As it is listed above, the attitude and the mindset of the leader determines how the group as a whole will
proceed. Determining the mission and vision of the entity will show in the process of work that the group does.
The leader should constantly have the goal in mind but have a open mindset to make additional changes to better
the system. It is hard to determine at rst but a leader should not be stubborn nor indecisive. As a leader be a part
of the process, not the 3rd person. An ideal leader is to have transformation motivated/ oriented leader with
transitional procedure to satisfy the people along (to show physical progress).



LEADER PROPOSAL
Skills
A leader is a person the group relies on to make changes and nal decisions. All leaders are expected to
have a reasonable amount of expertise and knowledge, but the skills that make a leader an outstanding leader is
his/her social skills. Being able to communicate thoroughly and manage the group smoothly becomes important
in a team setting. These skills are derived from personal experiences of academics and work. It is also important to
have an experience in both parties in a transaction, such as once being the oppressed and escaping the state of
being oppressed. In a physical/ external setting, it could simply be a seller and a buyer. These experiences could
also give the leader the ability to think abstractly and to see problems in different perspectives to prevent biased
decision-making,

Physical
Last but not least, the physical features are a mental shortcut for people to decide on a leader. Sharp
facial features like bold eyes and sharp nose bridge indicate charismatic leader, built and tall body seems strong
and accountable, clean and dandy style indicates that the person is organized. Although these features do not
always indicate the attributes that it should, it makes the leader more believable in what they claim to be.

BIOGRAPHY

Jrgen Douglas Brandt is born and raised in a political family. As a child, Jrgen was educated in German
political system and was interested in advancing the system. As a result of the help of the family and smart genes,
Jrgen has raced through education in the age of 16. Instead of taking advantage of the free education in
Germany, Jrgen decides to study abroad to gain international perspective in politics. Before college, Jrgen
served in the military for a year and a half, gaining experience in severe settings. He learned the importance of the
military as well as the ability to see in different perspectives of people who are from different backgrounds. Coming
back from the higher education, Jrgen Continued on the family business of real estate. Jrgen has worked as a
businessman for a couple of years under the help of the family members and realizes the importance and interest
in politics. By practicing different activities in politics, Jrgen is running for the same title his grandfather had from
1969-1974.

HISTORICAL APPROACH & SOCIAL ISSUE

Through tough regimes in the past, Germany needs to have a leader that is accountable and reliable.
Through different personal experience that Jrgen had in the past, he will be able to be a transformational leader
with transitional procedures to satisfy the people along. Through his diverse background, he understands the
economy, politics, and the importance of the government and is willing to make changes for the people. He will
assure stability as well as taking in consider what the people think. Having a specied knowledge in problematic
areas in the country, Jrgen is assured to be the best candidate as a chancellor.
