CULTURAL STUDIES (Humanities)

Cultural Studies is offered as either a four-year programme with a single or combined language (French, German, Italian, Spanish)
with a year abroad, or as a three-year programme specialising in a Humanities subject, i.e. Philosophy. Further information about
Cultural Studies may be obtained from Dr David Boothroyd.

Students must study 120 Credits at both Stage 2 and Stage 3 giving a total of 240 Credits over the two stages. At least 90 Credits
must be at Level H to be eligible for an Honours degree. Students are expected to register for 60 Credits in each term.
Students should note that the Faculty of Social Sciences offers Cultural Studies and Comparative Literary Studies, and Cultural
Studies and History & Philosophy of Art as programmes of study.

Drama, English, American and Postcolonial Literature, Philosophy, Religious Studies.
Stages 2 and 3
Students are required to take the following 75 Credits of Cultural Studies:

AND between 90 and 150 Credits from the J oint Honours section for their other subject, Classical & Archaeological Studies,

the Cultural Studies options.
