Chapter 7

Overview & Checklist


This chapter teaches the TE form of verbs and has the following
themes: Subjects; school day & schedule; favourite subject;
Japanese study; school rules. By the end of this chapter you will
be able to:


Convert plain form verbs to their TE form

Understand and respond to classroom commands

Make a request using V
Link sentences with the word and or and then .i.e.
Talk about your daily schedule using the V form
Talk about your school day and schedule using (and) (and such)
(etc.) (There is/ I have)

Read a school timetable i.e. On Monday
