He rose to fame in 2006 for playing the role of Miley Stewart in the hit Disney
Channel Original Series, Hannah Montana.
In 2007 she signed with Hollywood Records to pursue a solo career and
released his first studio album under her own name, titled Meet Miley Cyrus,
that year embarked on the tour, Best of Both Worlds Tour.
In July 2008 she released his second album, Breakout, debuting at number one
on the Billboard 200.
She began her foray into film as a voice actress in Bolt, 2008 animated film,
earning a nomination for the Golden Globe for Best Original Song for her
rendition of I Thought I Lost You.
In 2009 her role as Miley Stewart / Hannah Montana came to film in the movie
Hannah Montana: The Movie, and released his first EP, The Time of Our Lives.
In April 2010 premiere shooting the drama movie, The Last Song.
Her third studio album, Cant Be Tamed was released in June 2010. In 2011,
Cyrus embarked on her tour Gypsy Heart Tour in Latin America, Asia and
Oceania without including the United States, promoting his album Cant Be
Tamed, placed at # 2 on the Hot Tours chart.
In 2012 participated in the compilation album in tribute to Bob Dylan , Chimes of
Freedom : The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty
International, performing the song You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When
You Go , which was pre-nominated to Grammy Awards 2013.

On June 3, 2013, the record company RCA Records released We Cant Stop "
as the first single from his fourth studio album called Bangerz like "Wrecking
Ball ", which managed to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 , the first
single from the singer to reach that position .

His father's name is Billy Ray Cyrus and her mother Leticia Tish Finley. Has two
half-brothers, Christopher Cody and Trace, the latter being the vocalist and
guitarist of the band Metro Station and half-sister, Brandi. Has a younger
brother, Braison, and a younger sister, Noah.

Her parents named her Destiny Hope because they believed he was going to
accomplish great things in life. He was given the nickname "Miley", which
comes from "Smiley" because it was predisposed to smile.
