Dear Reverend Fathers, GOYA Advisors, Coaches and GOYAns:



On behalf of the entire Holy Trinity Church community, newly re-located in the North Hills
of Pittsburgh, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the Metropolis GOYA
Basketball Tournament on February 14-16 2014.

Team registration fees for the event are as follows, according to Metropolis guidelines:
First Team ...$200.00
Second Team .$170.00
Each Additional Team .$140.00
Additionally, the participation fee for each GOYA player and non-player is $25 per person
and is due at registration. All players must arrive with proper photo identification as
outlined in the Metropolis Athletic Guidelines and all Medical and Consent forms must also
be available for review.

Please note the following important registration and reservations deadlines:
Hotel Reservation Form ..Submit by Feb. 3, 2014
Tournament Registration Form & Fees.Submit by Feb. 8, 2014
Please also note a new item to the Metropolis Rules this year: Team fees must be
submitted with the Registration Form. This payment cannot be presented at Registration.
The fee must be postmarked no later than the Saturday before the tournament is
scheduled (February 8 for this tournament). If the fee is not paid in advance, the Host
Parish will add $25.00 fee for each team participating.

The hotel for the weekend is the Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh North (910 Sheraton
Drive, Mars, PA 16046), which is conveniently located off Route 19 in Cranberry near the
Pennsylvania Turnpike exit. We have negotiated a special price for all our participants of
only $99 per room. Our Four Points representative for the event is Jerry Weaver (724-
776-6923 or jweaver@fourpointspghnorth.com). Please note the reservation deadline of
February 3. This deadline will be enforced by the hotel in order to receive the room rate,
so please do not delay in getting your reservations made.

Along with our priests, Father John Touloumes and Father Radu Bordeianu, all our
GOYAns, parents and the entire parish, we are enthusiastically looking forward to being
