Cost Breakdown
Campus Movie Fest will be coming to UNF to give students an oppurtunity to make their own 5 minute short films. They will have a week to do this and CMF
will provide the students with the equipment needed to make these short films. This includes 75 HD camcorders, Macbook Pros, which will be rented out to
students at no cost. All they need is a valid UNF student ID, and a valid government ID during launch. The launch will be in the SU Plaza on 2/27/14 from
12:00pm-5:00pm at no cost to students. To explain Campus Movie Fest and answer questions we will have an Info Mixer on 2/24/14 in the Ballrooms at
8:00pm. After the first day, CMF will be on campus acting as tech support for individual teams on 2/28, 3/3/14 and 3/4 from 12:00PM - 4:00 PM in the OP
Office. On 3/5/14 from 2:00pm-5:00pm, teams turn in the rented equipment on site along with their completed films electronically for judging by non-biased
students, professional staff and faculty. The CMF staff views each film prior to the judges to eliminate any film that do not meet the requirments. The judges
will view the qualified films and create a Top Ten list as well as the winners. The Top Ten movies are shown at the Finale and the winners are announced. The
categories for winning are: Best Picture, Best Drama and Best Comedy. On 3/12/14 we will have the Finale in the Lazarra Theter. Starting at 7:00pm there will
be a red carpet for students to walk on leading through the doors on the right side of the Lazarra to the wall to take photos. We will have snacks such as
sandwiches, fruit, and a chocolate fountain for students to eat while they are waiting to go into the theater. Doors will open at 7:30pm and the show will start
at 8:00pm. The show will be hosted by OP Leadership. Campus Movie Fest provides the oppurtunity for the winning film in each category to go to Hollywood
for the CMF Hollywood student film festival where students compete at the Cannes Film Festival in France and learn movie making tips from experts in that
field. The theme for the CMF Finale and CMF advertising will be vintage Hollywood. Give it the Hollywood atmosphere, every student is a Hollywood star.
During the breaks of each section of movies we will do trivia for giveaways. We will giveaway OP prizes every 4 movies. Those who dress up can go inside the
theater first. We will emphasize dressing up on the advertising. We will put the hashtag #CMFatUNF on the back of shirts and for students to get the shirts
follow OP and CMF social media sites.
