lines and sporty features - the striking front-end design
and curved styling of the distinctive halogen headlights
complements and harmonises with the shape of the body.

bumpers blend perfectly with the athletic silhouette of

It will come as no surprise if you dont want to get out
of the Scirocco. This exhilarating, spirited car has front
sports seats which give lateral support when cornering.
The sports suspension brings the power of the engine
onto the road. The optional DynAudio Excite sound system
delivers impressive sound with four bass speakers, a total
of eight DynAudio loudspeakers, and output of 300 watts.
The Scirocco will make your heart beat faster, as the
multi-function display in the instrument cluster keeps
you up-to-date with important information during the
journey, and the standard Climatic air conditioner
ensures a comfortable interior temperature. There is
no doubt: the Scirocco is irresistible.
The sports contouring of the rear bench seat with integral frame-type
head restraints and Vienna leather trim, offer rear passengers a
comfortable yet sporty driving experience.
Even the door-pull is a piece of design excellence.
The optional RNS 510 Radio Navigation System leads the way on both
long and short journeys and has many advantageous features, such as an
integral 30GB hard disk and a touch screen colour display. You can also
play movies and audio les on the DVD drive, making your journey an
even richer experience.
Flexible: the Climatronic air conditioner, available on the 2.0 TSI,
has individual temperature control, for the driver and front passenger.
The optional leather-covered multi-function steering-wheel with
paddles has more to offer than just an attractive appearance:
in conjunction with the dual clutch gearbox DSG

, the paddles
facilitate smooth gear changing and therefore a dynamic
driving experience.
SAFETY.
You can be completely confident in the Scirocco. It not
only has powerful engines and dynamic driveability
but also comprehensive safety equipment: the Electronic
Stability Programme (ESP), with Brake Assist system and
counter steering assistance, includes an Anti-lock Brake
System (ABS), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) and
Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). Critical driving
situations can therefore be controlled at an early stage.
There is a curtain airbag system for all passengers and this is
complemented by side airbags at the front. Dynamic Chassis
Control (DCC), an optional feature, permanently adapts
the chassis to your driving and to road conditions. You have
a choice of three settings at the touch of a button: sport,
normal or comfort - for safe driving pleasure all round.
The Plus anti-theft warning system, which is standard,
has interior monitoring via the interior light module in
the headlining. Your Scirocco therefore stays exactly
where it belongs.
The Scirocco meets the highest safety standards with a 5-star NCAP rating proving that a
sporty car does not have to compromise on safety.
The curtain airbag system for front and rear passengers
includes side airbags at the front.
Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) adapts damping to road
surface conditions and the driving situation via
a control algorithm.
The acoustic and visual signals given by the ParkPilot assist you when parking.

ENGINES.
What could be better than to be inspired by the
acceleration of a powerful engine? The range of engines
for the Scirocco promises one thing in particular:
maximum dynamics. The TSI engine offers an exciting
combination of direct petrol injection and exhaust turbo
charging. This engine enables high performance to be
combined with the economical fuel consumption of a
smaller car. The two TSI engines are available with
outputs of 118kW and an impressive 147kW. The 6 - speed
dual clutch gearbox DSG is available on the 2.0 TSI
model. This efficiently combines the advantages of a
manual and an automatic gearbox. No matter which
one you decide on, you will feel the call of the road.
