SUNDAY THEME FOR SEPTEMBER 14TH - CANNED FOOD SUNDAY - We have had a great need recently of our emergency food boxes. These boxes are intend- ed to supply a family of four for two days. Something to get them through a tough week. The following items are currently needed: Individual envelopes of powdered milk, cans of evaporated milk, packages of rice and mashed potatoes, canned soup, canned fruit, canned chicken, canned ham, canned hash, beef stew, or other meat, (no tuna, please), canned vegetables, boxes of hot or cold cereal, boxes of dry onion soup mix., boxes of spaghetti and sauce. Thank You for providing for those in need.
R E M I N D E R : LEESBURG WOMENS RETREAT: There is an information meeting, TODAY, Sunday September 7th after worship service up front at the alter. UNITED METHODIST WOMEN: Our next UMW meeting will be on Tuesday, September 16th at 10:00 am in Fellowship Hall. This meeting is open to all Ladies of the Church. Please mark your calendars we would love to see you there. PUMPKING PATCH AND STORY TELLER NEWS: Get READY, Pumpkins arrive on October 14th and on Monday October 20th we start hosting preschoolers and kindergarteners. Wrapped candy is given to the children who attend story time. Monetary or candy (no choco- late) donations for this ministry may be given to Roy Baugher.
