Entries will be accepted beginning 21 March 2008 until 26 April 2008. Late
submissions and incomplete forms will not be entertained. Winners will be notified
within one (1) week from the contest deadline.
Eligibility
The competitions are open to all Malaysians aged between 18-25 years.

Judging Criteria
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on several criteria as stated in
the terms and conditions. Judges’ decision is final.

Terms and Conditions


 Photography Contest

1. The theme is Living without HIV/AIDS.


2. Write an article based on the photo that you take, in not longer than 50
words. Explain why you’ve chosen to take the photo and how it can relate
to the theme.
3. You may submit as many entries as you wish.
4. Winning photos will be judged in terms of outstanding photographic
artistry, creativity, its relation to your article and suitability to the theme
or any combination of the above.
5. Identical entries submitted by different individuals will be disqualified.
6. For photoshop-editing of photographs,
i. Send in your original (unedited) version of photograph along with
your edited photo file submission.
ii. The following are the only photoshop editing allowed:
 Brightness
 Contrast
 Cropping
 Sharpening
 Saturation
7. All submissions should only be in JPEG.
8. No compensation from the organizers is due for any promotional use of
photographs submitted to this contest.
9. All entries are to become the property of Project HOPE, AIESEC in Universiti
Putra Malaysia.

 Essay-writing Competition
1. The topic for the essay is People and AIDS.
2. Your essay should be no longer than 200 words.
3. Only one (1) submission per participant is allowed.
4. Essays will be judged based on content, originality of ideas, creativity and
relevance to the HIV/AIDS issue.
5. No contact information submitted as part of this contest will be shared with
other companies, or used for marketing purposes.
6. Entering the competition constitutes permission for AIESEC UPM to use a
winning entrant's name and entry text for promotional purposes without
further compensation.
7. All entries are to become the property of Project HOPE, AIESEC in Universiti
Putra Malaysia.
