How to Use 1. Choose a performance from the Program Guide at www.TheaterAllYear.com. Vouchers are only valid for productions and dates listed in the Program Guide, but the guide is updated periodically through the season. 2. Reserve your seats by calling the theater's box office directly. Telephone numbers and addresses are provided in the program guide. Tell the box office that you would like to exchange your Theater All Year voucher(s) for a ticket (or tickets) on your chosen date. 3. Exchange your voucher for a ticket at the theater box office on or before the day of the performance. You must present one voucher for each reserved ticket. No tickets will be issued without an exchange of an equal number of vouchers. 4. Enjoy the show!
2 Other Notes Check the expiration date on your vouchers before making reservations. Vouchers purchased for the 2014-2015 season expire 7/31/2015. Theater box offices will not honor expired vouchers. Theater All Year vouchers are non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or destroyed, and may not be combined with any other offer. All reservations are subject to seating availability. When you make your reservations, the theater may ask for a credit card number to hold your tickets until you pick them up. Filmmaker Wayne Nelsen presents two short animated films filled with vintage imagery from mid-20th century campy science fiction. Gabriela Santiago and Nikolas Martell use language to explore the limits and opportunities of science fiction as a genre. Harisen Daiko presents a 12-person choreographed musical performance using traditional taiko drums, while Anna S. Kunin premieres a short new avant-garde theatrical piece using masks and costumes called "The Last Human." Just in time for the Baseball Play-offs and World Series, Pioneer Place will open its 16th season with the sports comedy, Bleacher Bums. In the bleachers at Chicagos Wrigley Field, die hard Cub fans root for their team. The group includes a rabid cheerleader, a blind man who follows the game by transistor radio and does his own play by play, a bathing beauty, a nerd and various other bleacher denizens. As the game proceeds, they bet among themselves on every conceivable event, go out for frosty malts or beers, try to pick up the bathing beauty and, occasionally, watch the game. The Cubs inevitably blow it in the ninth and the villainous Marvin, who always bets against the Cubs figuring he cant lose, cleans up. The bleacher bums remain undaunted and in true 9 baseball fan form they will be back tomorrow to root for the home team. Conceived by Joe Mantegna and written by The Organic Theatre Company.
