MY PARTY- NOTA

To vouch for a party or a leader one has to make a rational decision. But in a country like India its
ostensibly impossible. I am a critic of all the political parties, but a realist as well. In a quest to reason
out so as to choose the better of the lot I came across different biases which comes into play.
Congress wants to win the votes of the minorities. People who vote for this party are those who are
minorities in religion, caste. So they vote for a party which has a soft corner for them. So their vote is
biased and they dont care about the development of the country. They dont want the country to
grow economically. How rational is their decision to vouch for such a party. They dont understand
the fact that industrial development will later on improve quality of life of the poorer classes of the
society. Party can go on making policies for the minorities and still indulge in multiple scams still
fend to come out with a clean chit.
On the other hand the so called educated people who think about the economic and industrial
development of the country are ready to cast vote for somebody who will do that for them. They
dont care about anything else. They would rather prefer being silent when it comes to the
dangerous consequences that the minorities are going to face in the future. They vote for a PM
candidate who doesnt want to have critics even in democracy but wants to be a leader of
democratic country to turn it autocratic. They vouch for the one who decides the fate of their critics.
Shucks!! Critics and opponents have to move to Pakistan. But there is something more supreme
behind his autocracy. VHP and RSS backed BJP is going to be a slow poison shot to the minorities. By
the time so called educated rational voters realise the economic development the country is going
through the minorities are victims. How does it matter as long as the numbers show up?
Our country is not new to granting a clean chit to those who even commit the crime publicly. No
doubt they would be another Ghost of Godhra in the future. The only thing that will be followed by
is the incident being a hot topic leading to different debates improving the skills of people like Arnab
Goswami.
Another party had to come into the picture to divide the votes and cash the third party who think for
the betterment of the country. He was immaturity personified. He lures the people of the nation
with quixotic ideas. But he cannot wait to prove himself to the country step by step. There can be a
lot behind his quenching thirst to become a PM. It wouldnt be a surprise if no conspiracy comes
true. What if AAP is congress in disguise?
People are ready to exploit their veto power to gain votes for them. Threat politics is no new to
India. One threatens to deprive people of jobs while the other is ready to deprive them of water. The
Supreme Court requests for tapes and proofs only to save them and give clean chit. Even before the
verdict the elections are over.
Yes everybody has personal life. India can boast of Gods making mistakes for the good of somebody.
Why should Buddha be questioned about leaving his wife and children? They can commit perjury
and still be given a clean chit. No problem he can still be elected as a prime minister just because he
has more experience than captain of a cricket team has. He can lead the country no matter which
direction. There is another argument either to vote for the party or to the person. How does it
matter as long there is a supreme force planning strategically?
The one and only one country which has always seen unity in diversity will be no more. Democracy
ceases to exist and supressed oppressed long to die. But the numbers might show up.
In a scenario like this there is no better of the lot. I vouch for none of the above (NOTA). I wish
somebody would preside NOTA and be elected as a prime minister of the country.
