The Fun Page
ARIES - Mar 21/Apr 20
Aries, exercise caution when expressing your needs. It
can be diffcult to stop when you are drumming up so
much excitement. Now is not the time to take a risk.
TAURUS - Apr 21/May 21
Taurus, you may have overextended yourself this week.
You didnt realize you had taken on so much until it was
too late, but there is still time to backtrack.
GEMINI - May 22/Jun 21
Gemini, committing to a daily routine can have a strong
impact on your overall health. Consider tailoring a new
routine for yourself, and youll reap the healthy rewards.
CANCER - Jun 22/Jul 22
Take things slow with a budding relationship this week,
Cancer. You dont want to go too fast and fnd yourself
in over your head. Let things develop gradually.
LEO - Jul 23/Aug 23
Leo, carefully consider any offer that seems too good to
be true this week. While the person making the offer is
not ill-intentioned, you still must exercise caution.
VIRGO - Aug 24/Sept 22
Big ideas sweep in this week and leave you with a lot of
inspiration, Virgo. Dont get too lost in fantastical ideas,
though. Wait a little bit before fnalizing plans.
LIBRA - Sept 23/Oct 23
Err on the side of caution with regard to spending this
week, Libra. You have to save up for a bigger purchase
thats on the horizon, so try to save as much as you can
now.
SCORPIO - Oct 24/Nov 22
Scorpio, only now do you realize how much you have
on your plate. Think about postponing a getaway until
your schedule is less packed and you can enjoy the trip
even more.
SAGITTARIUS - Nov 23/Dec 21
Sagittarius, turn work into play and things will move
along that much more quickly. Split up the tasks at hand
with a friend or colleague, and the week will fy by.
CAPRICORN - Dec 22/Jan 20
Capricorn, even though you dont have much time for
yourself, you feel compelled to spend more time with
others. Make some time for yourself as well.
AQUARIUS - Jan 21/Feb 18
Aquarius, you secretly enjoy when others come to
you for advice. Think carefully before making any
suggestions, and your friends will be more appreciative
because of it.
PISCES - Feb 19/Mar 20
Now is the time to further your studies, Pisces. Figure
out how to fnance a return to school and make the most
of the opportunity.

BRYANT,
DANNY GARY
(April 23, 1972
August 24, 2014)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of
Dan Bryant at PG Rotary Hospice House on August 24,
2014.
Dan is survived by his wife and soul mate Paula, sons
Darien, Zachary and Ethan, parents Gary and Sylvia,
mother Jolanda, sisters Nicole (Elvin) and Sarah (Jeff),
nephews Aaron and Corey, nieces Melina, Eliana, Jalen
and Sienna, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear
friends.
Dan was born and raised in Prince George. He spent most
of his working career at Bryant Electric where he started
his electrical apprenticeship and worked his way up to
become a Journeyman electrician, then Project Manager.
His absence from the workplace will leave a huge void.
Dan enjoyed life and loved to plan events to bring family
and friends together. He was a dedicated husband and
father and was actively involved with his boys in both PG
Minor Hockey and PG Youth Baseball.
Dan was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, friend,
coach and much more to many people. He always knew
how to lighten the mood and make you smile. He will be
missed but never forgotten and will remain in our hearts
forever! We love you Dan.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in
ER and ICU at UHNBC for their compassionate care, as
well as the wonderful staff at PG Rotary Hospice House.
A Celebration of Dans life will be held at the Columbus
Community Centre, 7201 Domano Blvd., Saturday, Sept.
6th at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of owers donations can be made to the PG Rotary
Hospice House.

Santos
June 23 1999 - August 18 2013
Its been a year since god called you home
We miss you now, our hearts are sore, As time goes by
we miss you more, Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fll your vacant place.
In our hearts your memory lingers,
Sweetly tender, fond and true,
There is not a day, dear Daughter
That we do not think of you.
You were a gift sent straight from Heaven.
Given to us from God above.
We didnt know how much you would teach us
About the meaning of true love...
For true love sometimes means letting go of someone precious and dear. That is what we were
forced to endure although we wanted to keep you here!!! But, sweet Taylor, we truly do believe
that God must have needed you more... Perhaps to be an Angel, full of wisdom and love...
Watching over those of us you loved, from the shining stars above.
We miss you more than words can say you will never be replaced...
In our hearts and memories forever, will be your sweet and innocent smiling face.
We are connected, my child and I, by an invisible cord not seen by the eye. Its not like the cord
that connected us till birth, this cord cant be seen by anyone on earth. This cord does its work,
right from the start, it bonds us together, attached at the heart. I know that its there though
no one can see, the invisible cord, from my child to me. The strength of this cord, its hard to
describe. It cant be destroyed, it cant be denied. Its stronger than any cord, man could create, it
withstands the tests, can hold any weight. And though you are gone, not here with me, the cord
is still there, but no one can see. It pulls at my heart, I am bruised....I am sore, but this cord is
my lifeline, as never before. I am thankful that God connected us this way,a mother and a child,
death cant take it away!
Tear drops, slow and steady, the pain still so real and true, God took another angel, and that
angel, dear, was you. Memories and little prayers, we all are mourning you, but well celebrate
the short life you led; we will never forget you. Youre beautiful, youre endless,
We love you so, I love you so, but we had to say goodbye.
You Closed your pretty eyes, we know you did your best.
You did what you were sent to do, now youll wait in heaven where one day together we will be,
I promise to hold you in my arms The place where you where always meant to be
We Love You Forever and Miss You Always
Love Mom Dad Troy Dylan Jordan Jos Dante Linda Roland and Karter and all of your family

The World Loved You,
We All Miss You
Jack Anthony, 81, passed
peacefully Friday, August
8, 2014 at Campbell
River General Hospital, in
Campbell River BC, following
a courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves his wife of 32 years, Iris Horutko of Campbell
River, BC, his sons, Derald and (Arlene) and Ron and
(Earleen) Horutko of Quesnel, BC and his beloved
companion, Casey, who enjoyed non-stop fetch and
long beach walks, and his two fur baby cats.
He was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, February 28,
1933, the son of Norman and Eva Horutko. He was a
truly dedicated husband and father who never backed
down from a challenge, be it a hard work day in the oil
fields, driving long haul truck for many years, running a
restaurant, or working in the pulp and paper industry.
He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and "Jack of
all trades. His passions were family, good friends,
floor curling and winning a double skunking game of
cribbage! He was our rock, our go-to whenever we
needed advice or help or just a little hug. He was an
incredible man!
At Jacks request, a Picnic (Celebration of Life) will
be held at Paul Lake Provincial Park, Kamloops, BC on
September 13, 2014 at 1pm. Please feel free to join his
family to celebrate Jack on this special day. Also feel
free to contact the family for more details.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your
choice.
