SOUND RIDER

PA SYSTEM
The supplied PA system must be of professional quality, 4 way active speaker
system. System processing to be DSP type of processing with manufacturers
recommended system parameters installed.
System must be capable of providing sufficient levels of sound power. As a guide,
it should be easily capable of producing 115 dB A weighted at the mix position,
without distortion and before any limiting.
The system should comprise main L&R hangs with a smaller centre hang and
where deemed necessary, side L&R hangs down-fills infills and delays to cover
areas beyond those covered by the main hangs.
The system must be ready to use on arrival & tested for faulty components
and noise, etc.
Acceptable systems are listed below in order of preference:
1. D&B
2. MEYER MILO / MICA
3. Adamson Y-axis
4. Nexo Geo T/ Geo D
5. L-Acoustics V-DOSCH / DV-DOSCH
FOH
The Sound System must be controlled from a mixing console positioned at about
100feet (30 m) out from the downstage edge of the stage in a large venue. In a
smaller venue, it should be placed about two-thirds of the distance from the front of
the stage to the rear of the audience.
All outputs must have delay compensation, to time align all cabinets in real time.
