2009 Telephone sales with a finance company. A number of departments including customer
care and assessment

2002-09 Director of Locate Security Systems Ltd, Responsible for telephone sales and face to
face in business to business, selling vehicle tracking systems and fuel saving technology.
Responsible for orders with the AA and other large organizations (I can elaborate on this but it is
not appropriate in my C.V.)

1993-2002 Co founder of Seawing UK LTD and Isis GRP Ltd.

I, together with my brother David set up Seawing Uk Ltd.and Isis GRP Ltd., Our core business
was general moulding in Glassfibre, but we soon diversified into other GRP products including a
range of racing yachts through Seawing UK Ltd. (we commissioned the designs and built the
Master Plugs/ tooling right through to exhibiting at International boat shows). We also
manufactured vehicle bodies for Securicor including developing a ballistic proof cab. Other
vehicles included 2 no. F40 Ferraris for the Le-Mans 24 Hr. race and A.C. Cobras /D Type Jaguar
replicas for DAX Cars Ltd...
Architectural cladding features, e.g. the U.C.G/ virgin cinema in Cardiff. The Millennium stadium
river walkway (capping along the river bank) and a large project at Gun Wharf Keys in Portsmouth
Our Isis 21 yacht has been bought by the by the Royal Yachting Association used for “match
racing” and it was proposed for selection for the 2008 Olympic games, although they have now
changed their selection ideas.
Both yachts that we built have been successful in major sailing events and have attracted
considerable sponsorship from the trade. I have given presentations to a number of foreign
Yachting associations, who have also shown interest. At the end of 2002 we negotiated the sale of
our company.

1976.1992 Co- Founder of Salty Yacht Productions Ltd. Newport, Boat Building initially but
diversified into general GPR Moulding and site applications including roofing, tank
lining .
Interests and Hobbies

Sailing an international dinghy at club level to championship events.

Walking and keeping fit.

I also enjoy photography and art.

Other Qualifications
Although I have sailed in the Bristol Channel for 40 years I have never got round to sitting any
formal exams. I had plans on attaining RYA yacht master for insurance purposes
I have owned a large r.i.b for a number of years.

Conclusion.
I am looking for a position that I can grow into and help to expand, although I am well used to a
fluctuating market trends. I know as a past employer the importance of loyalty, honesty and
commitment as well as doing a good job.

Aspirations and self opinion I am now looking for a position where I can use my experience
to help develop and improve a company’s products, reputation and image.
I would judge myself to be a good communicator and to be honest especially face to face or on the
telephone. I have over 26 years experience in composite moulding for the Construction, Marine
and Chemical industries. I am used to managing medium size numbers of people as I employed 26
with my old company.
I am considered friendly, adaptable and have a good sense of humor. I am a patient person which I
believe is an important aspect of management especially where training is concerned.
I am a non smoker. Clean driving license.
