The Alaskan Star is an anchor moored column stabilized
semi-submersible drilling rig constructed in Mitsubishi
Heavy Industries, in Japan. The rig follows the L-900
design, and is equipped with high-tech devices that
ensures a maximum uptime and safer operations while
minimizing emissions, discharge and human interface.
