The call

of
the sea
High speeds
and long
distances
The Pogo 12.50 is defnitely not a cruiser
like all the rest. Its hull, designed by Finot-
Conq Architects is the same as the pogo
40S - a frequent sight on the podium of
the Class 40. Powerful, stiff, accentuated
by the chine, she will take you to speeds
that you have yet to experience. In only 3
to 4 knots of breeze, even long distances
will seem much shorter
All this would make you think that it is a machine
reserved for expert, but nothing is further from the
truth. Like all Pogos, the 12.50 is a simple boat to
sail. The deep draught and carbon mast give great
stiffness and stability. The absence of backstays,
thanks to swept-back spreaders makes manoeu-
vering easy and you will quickly leave the beach
astern.
The helm is light and sensitive and even under
autopilot, the pogo 12.50 is as equally adapted to
families as it is to small crews. However, thanks to
the swing-keel (3m/1.20m) you can spend the night
in uncrowded, shallow anchorages without the need
to sacrifce performance.
Even though the hull of the pogo 12.50 is
race oriented, she remains a cruiser giving
total comfort, simplicity and style like
Pogos have done since the beginning.
The interior, designed by Roseo Design, is well
thought-out for cruising, and is very easy to
maintain. They have specifcally chosen materials to
give the boat a feeling of light and spaciousness.

The lightness and stiffness of our hulls permits us to
give all the comforts of modern cruisers without in
any way, detracting from the performance. With 6
full-size bunks and her huge saloon, bathed in light,
the pogo 12.50 is designed to welcome families
and cruising friends alike.
Confort at
sea as well as
at rest
The Pogo 12.50 is constructed using the
reliable and effcient resin infusion
technology that Structures has mastered over
many years.
The hull, deck, interior structural components, as well
as the numerous other items are vacuum bagged foam
sandwich.
The interior furniture is produced in our woodwork shop
in lightweight materials that are both durable and good-
looking.
Finally numerous spaces around the boat particularly
under bunks and in the longitudinal strengtheners are
flled with foam to aid insubmersibility.
The fabrication
In modern buildings which cover an area of almost
5000 sq. meters, 50 technicians build sailing boats
based on the latest technology, whether it be the
hull, furniture, deck gear, electronics or the rig.
With the workforce and the design offce on the
same site, as well as its constant collaboration
with Finot-Conq Architects, The Structures Boatyard
can continually adapt to innovations in the market,
whilst fulflling the demands of its clients and giving
good value for money.
Based at Combrit Sainte-Marine (Finistre), near Quimper and the river Odet, the
Structures boat yard has 25 years experience and knowledge in the conception and
construction of fast, comfortable boats.
