It will soon be time for our Year 6 children to attend their Ghyll Head Residential in the Lake District. The children are really excited, and so are the staff! The trip will be a great opportunity for children to gain more independence, build on their team work skills and enjoy time with their friends in a new environment.
This year, parents are invited to visit Ghyll Head with Mrs Wright so they could see the facilities that they have to offer. Further information is also available at the Ghyll Head parent meeting at NCS on Thursday 25th September at 3.05pm. Usher Street children had their meeting yesterday.
YR6 TEAM BUILDING DAY
As part of the preparations for Year 6s trip to Ghyll Head, the children took part in a team building day last week.
The children had a FANTASTIC day on the field building fires, erecting dens, problem solving and even taking part in archery! The children enjoyed it so much, that we have already booked the same event for September 2015!
