This information shows the market who completed
my questionnaire were of equal gender. This
information is purely to display and remind myself
the overall number of participants in the
questionnaire. This information also allows me to
see which gender chose which responses.

AGE CATEGORI ES
This information shows the age of the market who
completed my questionnaire. This information
shows both age groups were asked equally,
ensuring 5 males and 5 females were asked for
each group.

Finding out Favoured colours allows me to
gage an idea towards what attracts different
genders the most. The Red rings show that
both male and females liked the colours Red,
and Pink (pink more than any other). The Blue
rings show that purple and blue were also
equally favoured by both Genders, meaning I
can understand more which colours I should
use on my product.

Despite the criteria asking us to
specifically make a College
magazine, this question was useful
to see what genre people would
chose when it came to something
they had to read, which they might
not do, compared to something
they may do every day, like watch
TV. This information provides me a

COMMON HOBBI ES

Common hobbies show smaller differences
in choice by gender than expected. Gaming
is the only hobby which provoked equal
male and female votes. This may be useful
when deciding what to include in my
magazine, depending on the target
audience.

If I do intend to aim my magazine equally
at males and females, this data suggests I
should look closely at including popular
icons, bold imagery, and exciting and
gripping Cover lines. If I am to aim it
more at males, I should focus on a cover
mount, and for females I should focus on
the Inside Articles.
I may consider to use all of these
features due to their appeal when
asking the audience the questions,
many people gave great verbal
responses to all of them. Statistically
however, student offers was most
popular by both genders, so in aid of
gaining a wider audience, this will be a
main feature of my cover page.
The following three results came under
one question. This was about favourite
genres. This will help when deciding on
articles to summarise for the cover, as
including the most popular genres will

This result breaks the conventional response
Id been receiving. Many questions provoked
equality in gender through their responses,
however this question has no equal response.
This may mean I should include a variety of
music genres, mainly Pop and Drum & Bass.

Horror would appeal most to both genders,
however Romance would appeal most to
Females, judging by my results, and
Comedy would be most appealing to Males.
Again, reviews and advertising for film may
mean I include a variety of Genres to gain a
wider audience.
