I am a confident, conscientious, reliable and friendly and approachable individual with excellent
communication skills. I have good IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets, Database,
Filing and updating of databases, An enthusiastic, keen worker who is equally effective as a team
player or when working alone. I have a warm caring personality, enjoy working with the public

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency (GSWRA)

Job Title: Engagement Officer Date: March 2007 – June 2008

Duties included engaging with individuals or groups of potential new clients and existing
customers who were furthest from the labour market and informing them about GSWRA services
Deliver a first class service to customers answering queries building up rapport and trust helping
them to achieve their goals. In order to meet their needs and to help support them into training,
employment or personal development courses. Meeting service targets, referring users to internal
and external organisations

I also assisted with the day to day running of Internet Cybercafé: assisting customers or guests
with CVs, job search and application forms as well as inputting information into database and,
keeping client records up to date on a daily basis. Also did rota system for Cybercafé: and
outreach activities and ordering of stationary

Equip (Merged with GSWRA in 2007)

Job Title: E-enablement Officer Date: March 2005 – 2007

Main duties included going out into the community to engage with people who did not use or had
not heard of Equip in order to inform of services available to them. Delivering Outreach IT
activities in various locations within the community and progressing clients onto the next stages,
helping to overcome barriers that prevent them from using the services/Cybercafe facilities,
assisting with the use of computers/internet for job search and CV referrals to internal and
external organisations.

Job Title: Facility Support Worker Date: August 2004 – 2005

Duties and responsibilities included welcoming customers, assisting Hosts with IT classes,
registering new clients, arranging inductions and delivering basic IT training. Ordering of stock
for vending machine and cleaning materials, cash handling and key holder responsibilities.

During 2004-2007 I also undertook part-time sessional work with Glasgow City Council’s Youth
Services Department. I was employed both as a Youth Worker and Outreach Worker.
