Currently I am interning for Justice Records, promoting and marketing our artists which include …And
You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, nelo, Electric Touch, Ian Moore, Willie Nelson, and many more. I
was asked to increase our web traffic for all social media pages. In a period of 25 days, our traffic increased by
over 60%. In the first month of starting the Justice Records Blog I exceeded our goal of 900 unique visitors, and
had over 2,000 page loads. I have also established and maintained relationships with promoters, radio, and
newspaper personnel throughout the US. As Arts and Entertainment Editor/Sales Representative for The Austin
Times, I have averaged in securing 3 new clients per month. This is an above average performance.
I have dedicated many hours, apart from Justice Records, towards marketing, promoting, and managing
many aspiring artists and local musical events. I completed an internship at the Texas Music Office, and was the
only intern to be awarded a badge for SXSW ’09 due to the extra work I put in after my internship was
completed. I also volunteer at the Austin Music Office and help with events to promote the Austin music scene.
I am passionate and active in supporting the Austin music scene.
I am looking forward to joining the team at Transmission Entertainment. I appreciate your time and
consideration for the opportunity. Please contact me, at your earliest convenience, on my cell phone at (512)
507-8218, or by email at dulcenea.garcia@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
