The GENARO MULTI PURPOSE COOPERATIVE (GENARO MPC) with office address at Sitio Fernandez, Poblacion, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro has complied upon all requirements needed by the COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (CDA)- Calamba Extension Office has legally registered their cooperative in accordance with the Republic Act 1920. All members of all this said Cooperative, GENARO MPC has a common bond of interest , they joined voluntarily, of all legal age, residence of the Philippines and they share the minimum amount to be used as their capital share. This cooperative is promulgated base upon the needs of each member of cooperative. As to their legality, members of the cooperative also have responsibilities and duties to be followed; each of members must pay the installment of share capital and exercise their rights to have thrift and savings mobilization activities of the cooperative; patronize cooperative businesses and services, to participate in the education program, to attend in the assembly meeting, to obey all lawful orders, decision, rules and regulations adopted by the board of directors(BOD) and the general assembly and to promotes the goals and objectives of the cooperative. Each members are entitled and have a privilege to vote or to elect officers that they wanted to be the officers of the cooperative. Remember, that only the registered members has the authority to vote and there will be no substitute for them to vote. Members also receives benefit comes from the cooperative; they provide goods and services to each members for them to have an extra savings, to improve their purchasing power and to promote equitable distribution of income and wealth. They also practice all their members to have new ideas when it comes in business activities and they provide social and economic benefits among each members. These stated statements is based upon the constitution and bylaws of GENARO MULTI PURPOSE COOPERATIVE in accordance with Republic Act 6938 also known as Cooperative Code of the Philippines. In our country every cooperative has always goals and objectives that will benefit to each member so that the succession of each cooperative as well as the member will be continuously. Being a member of cooperative you should always bear in your mind before you enter into different kind of cooperative you should think twice what would be the benefits of this? Or is it helpful to join or not? Or what would be your responsibilities being a member of this cooperative?...that would be some of the important questions that you ask first to yourself before you join, so that you would be prepared for whatever circumstances and challenges that you would encountered.
