This is a two-term
course. It covers the
basic concepts of
statistics and the most
commonly applied
methods of statistical
analysis including
elementary probability,
some probability
distributions, basic onesample and two-sample
estimation and
hypothesis testing,
simple and multiple
linear regressions, onefactor analysis of
variance and analysis of
categorical data.
