Contest rules
n The competition is open to all individuals and firms involved in the
hotel industry.
n Entries must reflect data that occurred after January 1, 2009
n There is no limit on the number of entries that can be submitted
for any award. However, each project must be packaged and
submitted separately as an individual entry. 
A separate entry form, written narrative and images must be
submitted for each entry. No entries will be returned. Please note,
individual submissions in one category may compete as components
of entries in broader categories such as Best Design. Judges also
reserve the right to re-categorize submissions into other award
categories as they see fit.
n Entries must be postmarked or dated by delivery service no later
than May 28, 2010
n An entry fee of $85 per submission is required for all submissions Release of information:

project came in on budget and on time and how the design contributed
to the overall success of the project.

D-10 Sustainable design award


Winner will be considered based on the demonstration of sustainable
design and building practices, aesthetic appeal and achievement of
sustainable objectives as determined by the project developer. A two-
page entry should include the green/sustainable design features and

process savings.

D-11 Best property design


Eligible projects include new builds and renovations and should
showcase design excellence over multiple areas of a property. Note:
submitting firms must have been responsible for at least 75% of the
