Join us for our annual Thanksgiving celebration. This year we are holding it at St.
Johns UCC on Wolfrum road and 94 in St. Charles. Remember to bring a side dish
to share and we will provide the turkey and stuffing, ham and pie. Join us for a walk
while we look at all the holiday decorations at Mid Rivers mall. Learn more about
the election process and participate in our very own mock election; its educational and
fun too! Explore the Wax museum with us. Behind its 1885 cast-iron faade, the mu-
seum harbors more than 200 life-size figures across five levels and 10,000 square feet
of museum space. The display of doppelgangers includes presidents, superheroes, his-
toric figures, and movie stars. Come to the holocaust museum with us to view photo-
graphs, artifacts and audio-visual displays. Learn about the holocaust at the resource
library with the oral history archives. Visit the Soldiers Military Museum that has
two museum galleries containing military-related items of both local and national his-
toric significance including photographs, posters and printed materials; uniforms,
flags, medals, firearms, edged weapons and a range of war-time memorabilia from the
battlefront and home front. Join Shelley for out to breakfast. Celebrate everyone
who was born in "November" at a cupcake-decorating party. Attend a play at St.
Charles Community College and at Act 2 Community Theater. Dont miss music
with Larry. Find out about a new one-of-a-kind museum that explains the economy
through nearly 100 exhibits, games and videos. A historic building transforms into a
modern, interactive experience at the Inside the Economy Museum at the Federal Re-
serve Bank of St. Louis. Schedule an in home visit with SAS staff on any of the in

11/1 Enjoy a walk on the paved trail of St. Peters City Cen-
tre Park located at #1 St. Peters Centre Blvd. We will
meet in the parking lot adjacent to St. Peters City Hall Park
and maybe be lucky enough to collect some fall leaves.

containing military-related items of both local and national his-
toric significance including photographs, posters and printed ma-
terials; uniforms, flags, medals, firearms, edged weapons and a
range of war-time memorabilia from the battlefront and home
front. The museum is located at 1315 Chestnut in St. Louis

11/4 Scrapbooking-Scrapbookers meet the first Tuesday
night of every month. Bring your photos or other momen-
tos and use the provided tools to create scrapbook pages
or tonight we will also work on Christmas pageant invita-
tions.

11/6 Craft at Michaelsjoin us at Michaels in St. Charles
to create a Thanksgiving craft. The cost is $3.00 per per-
son.

11/7 Dinner Out at Sugarfire -Enjoy dinner out with your
friends , while enjoying great barbecue. Each home is responsi-
ble for purchasing their own meal. Please contact Sherifa if you
need further information.

11/8 All About Elections Class- Learn more about the elec-
tion process and participate in our very own mock elec-
tion. Educational and fun too!

11/9 Play-Act 2 Community Theatre presents Smoke on the
Mountain- This is the story of a Saturday night Gospel sing at a
Country church in the Smoky Mountains. This show features two
dozen rousing bluegrass songs. Tickets are $10.00 and non-
refundable. We will meet at the theatre at 1:30pm

wonderful night at Third Degree, enjoy glass blowing, food
and drinks and special entertainment to be announced. We
will meet at Third Degree at 6:30pm

11/22 Breakfast Club 9:00am-10:30 come and join Shelley
for breakfast. The restaurant will be determined at the Oct.
Breakfast Club. Shelley will contact you prior to the date to
let you know which restaurant we will be dining at.

11/23 SCCC Play-St. Charles Community College presents
Miracle on South Division Street A heart - warming and
funny story of a family legend that unravels. Tickets are
$8.00 and non-refundable. We will meet at the Center Stage
Theatre at 1:30 pm.

11/29-Bowling at Cave Springs Lanes-Enjoy a night out of
fun bowling with friends. Bring funds if you want to enjoy
bowling alley fare. Each home is responsible for game and
shoes.

11/30 Native American Craft - Learn about Native Ameri-
can history and create a Native American craft.

ing a funny war movie. Thank you Veterans for our
Freedom!

a mall walk.

11/15 Cooking Class - Make and sample non-
traditional pancakes.

11/15 St Charles Arena Support our local Soccer team
The St Louis Ambush. Tickets are $15.00 and we will
meet at the St Charles Arena at 7 pm. We can do an in
house transfer for your tickets. Please contact Sherifa if
need you further information.

11/16 Thanksgiving Luncheon- Join us for our annual
Thanksgiving celebration. This year we are holding it at

11/18 Volunteer Club- The Crisis Nursery is a local agen-
cy that provides a safe haven for children facing child
abuse or kids who have a family in crisis. Their Volun-
teer Coordinator is providing us a tour of their facility
and sharing more with us about their mission and volun-
teer opportunities that you/we may be interested in pursu-
ing. Meet at the Crisis Nursery at 6:30pm, address 315
1st Capitol St. Charles 63301 parking in the back of the
building and there is a ramp leading into the back
door. Registration is limited to ensure we have a com-
fortable tour so please take that into consideration when
signing up or if you should need to cancel.

11/20 Economy Museum- Find out about a new one-of-
a-kind museum that explains the economy through nearly
100 exhibits, games and videos. A historic building trans-
forms into a modern, interactive experience at the In-
side the Economy Museum at the Federal Reserve
Bank of St. Louis . It is located at One federal Re-
serve Bank plaza in St. Louis.
