Hyundai domestic sales up by 14.5 percent
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the countrys second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter registered the domestic sales of 35,041 units and exports of 16,430 units with cumulative sales of 51,471 units for the month of September 2014. Hyundai volumes have grown by 14.5 % for September and 12.8% for first half of the year with strong performance of new model.
TVS Motor Company grew 27% in volume sales in September 2014
Two-wheeler and three-wheeler-maker TVS Motor Company grew by 27 percent sales growth in September, as per the official filing by the company. As per reports, the company sold 250,835 units (two- wheelers 241,668 units, three-wheelers 9,167 units) last month, which is higher from the last year's volume sales of 197,409 units (two-wheelers 189,609 units, three-wheelers 7,800 units).
M&M closes up; domestic sales at 27,321 units in Sept
Domestic sales of M&M stood at 27,321 units in September 2014 as against 25,922 units during September 2013. Total tractor sales (domestic and exports) during September 2014 stood at 28,739 units as against 26,637 units for the same period last year. Exports for the September month were at 1,418 units.
