Lambert said the pours have went well. Wed say smooth, and
everyone will soon find out when pulling into the Cottonwood.

Its mailing time Saturday at the

Valley County Pioneer Museum

It is that time of year again when Friends Of The

Pioneer Museum ask you for your help in getting out
the annual mailing.
On Saturday, October 11th volunteers will begin
stuffing envelopes at 8:00 A.M. at the VFW. For us this is
our major fund raiser of the year. However, it is not the
only time you can help us out financially. Any time you
want to make a donation as a memorial or an outright
gift to our efforts you may do so. In fact, we encourage
it and welcome it. Or if you want to take part in your
support has helped us make many improvements over
the years at the Pioneer Museum.
Our main objective now is to erect a building on
the lot across the street to house the Agricultural and
Railroad artifacts that we have. The two areas of the
development of our area are the basics that made Valley
County what it is today. Those artifacts need to be
protected from the elements in order to preserve them
and right now we are in no position to do so. We are
working towards that goal and are getting closer to
enacting the plan we have to raise the majority of the
funds necessary to do just that. When you get your
mailing please check it and read it so you can know
what our goal is.
And if at all possible come help. You will have a
good time visiting with friends and neighbors. We will
also have some very good refreshments to serve. We
look forward to seeing you.
