of the frame and mark it with a pencil one inch from the edge. 5 Press the moss onto the glue. This helps increase the contact between the tillandsias and the dish, as well as hold the tilland- sias upright while the glue dries. 2 Spray the area with a light layer of water. The water pre- vents the drill from heating the ceramic up so much that it cracks. 6 Put a dime-size dab of glue on the base of each tillandsia. Press them rmly into the moss. 3 Using a drill tted with a glass masonry bit, drill a hole large enough for a screw or nail to t through. 4 Turn the dish over and cover the inside bottom with a light layer of glue. 7 Wrap string over the tilland- sias to keep them in place. Take care that you cross the string over the centers of the tilland- sias; this will prevent them from leaning to one side or from being pushed up by the glue while its drying.
