Try this Microsoft Fix-it to remove traces of the previous Skype.
uninstall Skype again then have a look in C:\Users>{yourname}>AppData
for any Skype folders which might be clinging on to settings you want to
bin. Also, hit Windows key and R together then type regedit into the Open
box an dhit Enter. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Skype
and delete the entire key then click Edit and Find, type in Skype and delete
any further references you find by hitting Function 3 to find the next one
every time. Leave the Registry by the File menu Exit and restart the
computer twice. That shold do it
The "Object already exists" error message is known to be caused by the recent
Windows Security update KB2918614. Due to changes this update made to
Windows Installer, not only Skype, but also several other updates (e.g. Adobe
Reader, Java and even updates for Sophos Antivirus) may suffer from this
behaviour. Uninstalling this update will rectify the issue, and this update can
always be subsequently reinstalled (when the affected application is
successfully installed/updated).

Try to uninstall this Windows Security update KB2918614.
1. Open Installed Updates by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel,
clicking Programs, and then, underPrograms and Features, clicking View installed
updates.
2. Click the update that you want to remove, and then click Uninstall. If you're prompted
for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. After uninstalling this update try again to install Skype.

6. Be aware that if you want to install the currently latest 6.20.0.104 version,
then you should use the SkypeSetup_6.20.0.104.msi file in order to
extract theSkype.exe and Login.cab files.

uninstall the current NORMAL Skype with Revo (remove all registry entries)
