Join us on Sunday, 26th October, 2014, for Jog for Joes
our Halloween 5k Fun Run/Walk, taking place in the
grounds of St Annes Park, Raheny. Run, jog or walk the
route in fancy dress to channel the true spirit of this
Halloween event!
Starting at 11.00am, the event will include pre-race
warm up, age specic childrens races, face-painting
and entertainers. Whether youre a grandparent, parent,
attend a local school or sports club or work nearby,
wed love your support.
All funds raised will go to support the many services
for older people in the community which are provided
from St Josephs Hospital. And ... if youd like to go
the extra kilometre in raising additional funds beyond
the entry fee, wed be happy to provide you with a
sponsorship card.
Race start time is 11.00am with staggered starts for
runners, joggers and walkers. Childrens races are over
200 metres and will take place following the main
5K event at 12.30pm. Prizes will be provided for rst,
second and third place winners in the following age
groups age 4 - 6 yrs; age 7 - 9 yrs and age 10 - 12 yrs.

By taking part in Jog for Joes youll be helping
Beaumont Hospital Foundation raise funds for Elderly
Services at St Josephs Hospital in Raheny, which is part
of the Beaumont Hospital campus.
St Josephs Hospital is home to four medical and
surgical units; the Rehab Unit, the Day Hospital, a
community nursing home and the Day Surgical Unit
which carries out over one hundred procedures weekly.
Your support for Jog for Joes will go to fund the
purchase of essential equipment and facilities
for the hospitals elderly patients and their families.
