14-697-Offered by Councillor Knight Be It Resolved the Medford City Council extend it's sincere congratulations and praise to Anthony Petrelis on being named the Milken Educator Award Recipient;
Be it further resolved whereas Mr.Petrelis is one of only 40 recipients Nationwide, and the only Massachusetts based educator to receive this distinguished award, the Medford City Council present Mr. Petrelis with a congratulatory citation commemorating this remarkable achievement. 2 14-698-Offered by Couincillor Penta Be It Resolved that a council commendation be sent to Frederick Laskey, Executive Director of the MWRA for receiving the Norman B Leventhal Excellence in City Building Award. Fred was honored the Environmental Award recipient for his water protection leadership at the MWRA. The award also acknowledged Fred's dedication toward our region's environment while providing clean drinking water to communities throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
14-706-Offered by Vice President Caraviello Be It Resolved that the Medford City Council present a citation to commend and congratulate Bruno Bonaccorsi on his recent achievement award for his 32 years of employment with Project Triangle.
14-699-Offered by Councillor Knight Be It Resolved that Waste Management perform a comprehensive inspection of their vehicles used for trash and recycling pick-up in the City of Medford.
14-700-Offered by Councillor Penta Be It Resolved that in the interest of public safety for bicyclists and the driving public, a state law proposal be forwarded to our state legislature regarding such matter. A further explanation to be furnished at the council meeting.
14-701-Offered by Councillor Penta Be It Resolved that the Medford City Council take an official position on Mayor McGlynn's one size fits all "pay to park" contract since in fact the council found about the signing by a press release.

The purpose of this easement is to provide electric service and the transmission of data to serve the Department of Public Works facility that is being constructed on James Street.
I am attaching a copy of the proposed easement to this request.
