11. Will KIPP Academy provide transportation for my child to get to and
from the school?
As with any public school, KIPP Academy will provide eligible students with a ½ fare or
full fare metrocard depending on how far they live from the school.
Upon submission of the application, applicants will have the opportunity to document
their free and reduced lunch eligibility. Families do not need to be present at the
lottery. Students will be contacted by phone to discuss the expectations of the school in
the order they were drawn until all open slots are filled. Families may also call the
school beginning April 15th to find out the number that they were assigned in the
lottery.
4. Can I enter my child’s name in more than one KIPP NYC lottery?
Yes. However, you will need to submit a separate application for each school. Each KIPP
NYC school holds a separate lottery and enrollment process.
7. Where is the school and who can I contact with additional questions?
The school is located at 250 E 156th Street, 4th floor in the Bronx. For more information
