SPELL-IT-RIGHT
Objective : To attract students to participate in English activities regardless of their proficiency level.
1. The competition will be divided into 3 categories. - Easy level beginner - Medium level (intermediate) - Difficult level.
2. The students will join the competition based on their ability.
3. The judge will call the student based on their category.
4. The word will be read and the students will have to spell it correctly.
5. The students will proceed to the next round if they manage to spell the word correctly within 30 seconds.
6. The last remaining student will be chosen as the winner for each category.
*- The weak students will be given a list of easy words before participating in the competition. This will encourage them to memorize the words and be prepared for the competition.

TREASURE HUNT
Exciting activities It can attract pupils attention to learn English.

Integrating English through :
Chain of clues
- picture with words - word - sign - puzzle - short message - task - eg. grammar exercise, quiz - rhyme - questions
Place : - in the classroom - around the school
Activities :
1. Plan the routes select 6 locations.
2. Divide pupils into groups.
3. Each group complete each task in a stipulated time (according to level of difficulty of the task). Teacher should take note on the time taken by each group to complete the task.
4. After completing the task at a point, pupils will move to another point until every group completed their tasks at all points.
5. The group with the most correct answers and the fastest time taken to complete the tasks will be the winner.
* This activity can be done like explorace where pupils complete certain task ( English related task) before they are given a clue and then proceed to the next clue.

MURAL DRAWING
Objectives: 1. To beautify/decorate the school walls. 2. To develop their cooperation. 3. To develop and explore their creativity. 4. As a remembrance for the students.
Target Group : Year 6 (divided into groups)
Time : Set up a time table. (groups take turns with subject teachers)
Things needed : brush, paints, A4 papers, walls to draw
How to proceed the activity:
1. Teachers set up a meeting, discuss the decided activity, choose topic/theme. (discuss with other panels)
2. Discuss the budget to carry out the activity.
3. Prepares the things to do the activity.
4. Set up the time table to make sure the activity will be carried out smoothly.
5. Divide the pupils into groups, assign teachers for each group.
Steps to do the activity:
1. First week - paints the background, sketch the chosen pictures eg. trees (words) of English, nouns, verbs in English.
2. Second week - colour the given pictures, starts with the dominant pictures.
3. Third week Finish up the extra details.
4. End of the project - take pictures for documentation. - students state out eg. nouns and verbs after they had finish the activity.
