    If you are Then
    a part time student in the winter term; or
    a full-time student for the winter term only
    the learning tool is due back no later than Friday, May 2, 2014.
    If you are Then
    a full-time student in the fall and winter term; and
    are returning the following academic year (Fall
    2014) as a full-time student
    You are eligible to keep the learning tool over the summer months.
    Prior to the fall 2014 term, you are required to attend the Fall Laptop
    Distribution to receive a software or hardware refresh to prepare you for
    the next year of classes.
    Registration for this process will be available online through MyCampus
    after you register for your fall courses.
    If you Then
    require course related extension due to faculty
    related circumstances
    you will be advised by your faculty to visit the Laptop Distribution Centre to
    extend your learning tool return date.
    If you are Then
    graduating, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
    the learning tool is due back no later than Friday, May 2, 2014.
    The learning tool will be reimaged with Windows (factory preload). You will
    receive a certificate to purchase MS Office at the Campus Bookstore at a
    discounted price of approx. $18 (price subject to change).
    Please ensure to back up your files and documents prior to starting this
    process.
    If you are experiencing any technical issues with your learning tool, please
    visit the IT Service Desk to have those issues resolved before you attend
    the Laptop Distribution Centre.

    Learning Tool Purchase for Graduating
    Students & Returns
    Graduating students who have applied for graduation through MyCampus have the opportunity to purchase their learning tool. To apply
    for Learning Tool Purchase for Graduating Student visit the Laptop Distribution Centre to start the process.

    Graduating students who have paid the equivalent of two years full-time Technology-Enriched Learning fees are eligible to
    purchase their learning tool for $1.

    Graduating students (Faculty of Education only) who have paid the equivalent of one year full-time Technology-Enriched
    Learning fee are eligible to purchase the laptop for $1.

    Students who were/are
    registered for full-time for both
    the fall & winter terms; and are
    returning to full-time studies in
    the fall 2014 term, may keep
    their learning tool over the
    summer months.

    No need to register or sign-up for the session,
    just drop in during the hours of operation.
    Returns
    Students withdrawing from UOIT, suspended or dismissed need to return their learning tool immediately. Students changing academic
    status (full-time to part-time or part-time to full-time) or changing program need to return their learning tools no later than May 2, 2014 to
    the Laptop Distribution Centre.
