Section-A
Answer all the questions 6X10=60M
1) Two points A and B lie in the VP. The point A is above the HP and the point B is 40mm
below the HP the perpendicular distance between their projectors is 60mm. The line joining
a and b makes 60
0
with XY. Draw the projections of the points. Find the height of point A
from the HP. [10M]
2) A line AB, 50mm long, is inclined at 45
0
to the VP and parallel to the HP. The nearest end of
the line is 25mm in front of the VP. Draw the projections of the line if it is 40mm above the
HP. and determine its traces. [10M]
3) A regular hexagon of 40 mm side has a corner in the H.P. Its surface is inclined at 45
0
to the
H.P. and the top view of the diagonal through the corner which is in the H.P. makes an angle
of 60
0
with the V.P. Draw its FV and TV. [10M]
4) A square prism with a base side of 45mm and an axis length of 90mm is resting on its end on
the HP. All the vertical faces are equally inclined to the VP. A vertical section plane passing
through the midpoint of two adjacent sides of base cuts the prism. Draw TV and sectional FV
of the prism. [10M]
5) A pentagonal pyramid of base 20mm and height 50mm has its triangular face in the VP with a
shorter side inclined to the HP at 30
0
. Draw its three views. [10M]
6) A cylinder of base 60mm diameter and height 80mm has the midpoint of the axis 60mm away
from both the RPs. The axis is inclined at 30
0
to the HP. Draw the FV and TV. [10M]
Section-B
Answer any two of the following 2X20=40M
7) Draw the projections of a circle of 50 mm diameter resting in the H.P on a point A on the
circumference, its plane inclined at 45
