Professionally qualified personnel and modern equipment play an important role in the safety and reliability of
NDE services. Only professionals, who are certified to international level, are deployed.
Emphasis is placed on employing all possible means to minimize risks to personnel who are involved in handling
of Radioisotopes. Radiation doses are regularly monitored and minimized by using latest equipment and
procedures. Radiation Protection Officer responsibility held by the most experienced level-3 radiography
expert in the Company, ensures RT procedures are up to date and in line with international standards and safe
practices. Where as, our site incharge(s) are responsible for implementation of the relevant policies and
procedures.
For long duration projects in any region, the company is equipped with furnished modular porta-cabins to be

2. TICO: Ultrasonic Instrument

The equipment is used to obtain information about the properties of concrete by ultra-sonic investigations:

Inspection and Load Testing of Cranes, Rigging Accessories and Hydraulic / Mechanical Jacks

With heavy and repetitive loading of cranes the wire ropes, booms and other critical parts get worn out.
Fatigue causes stresses to accumulate at different areas, some of which may be critical.

INSPECTEST being an Overseas Associate Member of LEEA, UK (Lifting Equipment Engineers
Association) is providing Inspection/Testing services for following categories of equipment:

Our inspection teams carry out in-depth inspections and Load Testing of;
Mobile / Overhead Cranes, Hoists
Hydraulic / Mechanical J acks, and
Lifting Accessories i.e. Slings, Shackles, Lifting Eyes etc.
through Visual Examination, Liquid Penetrant Testing / Magnetic Particle Testing and actual Load Tests
conducted by using latest remote controlled Electronic Dynamometers (Load Cells).
Accurate measurements of crane loading at different radii are performed and certificate issued as per
relevant safety codes.

Pressure safety / Pressure relief val ves and Control valves

Set Pressure verification, Reset Pressure and Leak Tests on valves are performed using either pressurized
gas or water on our Test Bench up to 3300 psi with valve flange sizes ranging up to 15 inches. These Tests
are performed as per API standards or Client specified Standards.
All the measuring equipment used in the testing is traceable to International Standards. Inspectest has
latest ventil test bench with CE Marking. The Test Bench has appropriate NDE and Pressure Test
Certificates in accordance with ASME. Moreover, it is portable test bench and we are using in several power
and gas plants.

Fluid storage and transportation facilities (FSTF) require calibration at regular intervals to give owner reliable

INSPECTEST has the capability to calibrate FSTF of any capacity. Different methods are used depending on
the type, shape and location. Our teams can be mobilized at a short notice and the job undertaken
immediately.

All calibrations are performed in accordance with internationally acclaimed standards such as API and ISO.
Clients are provided with Hard and Soft copies of the calibration sheets and charts for record. Backup records

CALIBRATION OF MEASURING AND MONITORING EQUIPMENTS

Through Calibration we achieve the confirmation of basic accuracy, confidence of Measurement with
Tracebaility.

Services are also provided for Field Instrument Testing and Calibration of Pressure Transmitter, Temperature
Transmitter, Flow Transmitter, Level Transmitter, RTDs, Control Valves during plant commissioning and
turnaround using latest Equipment like Field Communicator, Pressure Calibrator, Temperature Calibrator,
Process Calibrator and Digital Calibrator.

Acceptable Tolerances are taken as per Clients / Manufacturers specifications otherwise +1 least Count of
equipment under test is referred acceptable tolerance.

Calibration Certificates are provided with traceability of Reference Equipment and unit of measurement to
recognized International Labs.

Reference Equipments are periodically Calibrated from UKAS / NAMAS / NIST approved Lab. at defined
intervals.

We also report uncertainty in specified area of measurement as per our clients requirements by using only
validated methods and by assuring the quality of our calibration results.

Our Field Maintenance and Calibration Management System provide inventory control, periodicity control and
recall (Calibration Alert) control through state-of-the-art computer software. All instruments, once calibrated
are logged on our computerized recall system, which automatically generates reports for End-users initimating
dead lines for re-calibration of the equipment. We also offer a program for training of personnel of our Clients
in the field of calibration.
