The Birds in My Garden

By Patty Beecham
The Birds in My Garden Patty Beecham

The birds in my garden are big and small,
they are noisy and flappy and I love them all.

They hop, they perch, they spread their wings,
they screech and squawk and try to sing.

Some are black, some are white,
Some have coloured feathers, some look a fright!

They preen, they gleam, they groom with pride,
they flitter, they flutter, they swoop, they glide!
