    MINUTES OF THE FIRST PROPOSAL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, 10 JUNE
    2014 AT 2:00PM IN HOUSE 1234

    Present: Yap Yee Hui - Chairperson
    Teh Jia Hong - Secretary
    Foo Wei Yong - Research and Development Manager
    Ku Lay Chin - Promotion and Marketing Manager

    1. Apologies for Absence Action by
    No apologies were accepted.

    2. Minutes of Last Meeting
    No last meeting.

    3. Matters
    There were no matters arising

    4. Business Proposal for Mix and Change Fruit Juice
    (a) Lay Chin was informed that the sale of the previous product had declined.
    So, the manager decided to launch a new product, Mix and Change Fruit LC
    Juice, in order to increase the companys sale performance.


    (b) Yee Hui asked 10 committee members to distribute survey forms to the
    residents near the Kampar area in order to know their opinion about the
    product.

    5. Product Concept
    (a) Yee Hui asked Wei Yong to design an attractive package for this healthy
    fruit juice. She also suggested that Wei Yong can use plastic bottle for the YH
    package.
    (b) Based on the survey forms, majority of the residents in Kampar area
    preferred these five types of flavour: Apple Peach, Honeydew Milk,
    Lychee Milk, Pineapple Honey and Lychee Tea. So, Yee Hui asked the
    workers to start to produce the products.

    6. Marketing Strategies
    (a) Yee Hui asked Jia Hong to contact Lay Chin to prepare the marketing
    strategies for the product. Lay Chin suggested to promote the product JH & LC
    through television advertisement, flyers and internet.
    (b) Jia Hong proposed Lay Chin to use more colourful and attractive graphics JH
    to attract more customers.

    There was no other business.

    8. Date of Next Meeting
    It was agreed that the next meeting would be held in house 1234 on 21 June
    2014, Saturday at 2:00pm before the deadline on 1 August 2014, Friday.

    The meeting adjourned at 4.15pm.
