12- 19Casing

Westerstrand time centrals are built around a
19 modular concept where the backbone is
closed or open casings for mounting in stand or
cabinet. A time central can consist of up to 8
casings.
Different types of modules, batteries and power
supplies are available.

7.3 GPS receiver

The GPS-receiver is intended for outdoor mounting and the antenna needs clear view up wards. The
receiver can be mounted on a mast by using a clamp or directly to a wall by using the enclosed aluminum
bracket. It is also possible to remove the aluminum bracket and mount the enclosure directly to a roof.
A built in LED indicates the signal reception. Connection to the master clock is done with 3 wires.

Operating temp: -40C to +85C.
Prime power: +8V to 35V (Power supply from Master Clock / Time Central).

Replacement of GPS backup battery

Battery: Lithium 3V type CR1632

Instruction

Open the GPS lide
Unplug the cable connector
Remove the old battery
Insert the new battery
Plug in the cable connector again
Close the lid

7.4 - Analogue slave clocks

1- Cleaning the clock exterior.
2- Replace backup battery.
3- check of time uniformity

7.5 - Digital slave clock

The display shows time, temperature and date alternately (via set up function).
Red diodes.
The light intensity is adjusted via dimmer(built in).
48 hours memory backup. After a mains failure correct time is automatically displayed.
Including Air-temperature sensor.
Automatic summer/winter time change.
The front cover can be opened (equipped with hinges).
