Angela Atkins and their fine staff of workers for the
wonderful job our children did Sunday. We have some of the
most dedicated workers you’ll find anywhere and, of course,
we have the greatest group of children ! ! Everyone worked
so hard getting prepared and all that effort paid off! We had a
packed house, filled with Moms, Dads, Grandmothers,
Grandfathers, friends, family, and church people. The Baby
Parade, under the direction of Jollene Priester, was
wonderful, the small children portrayed the Christmas Story
for us and sang beautifully! Then the older children did their
play entitled, “The First Day of Christmas.” We have a
bright future ahead of us as it is obvious that we have talented
actors, actresses, and singers. TO GOD BE THE GLORY !
THANKS AGAIN TO ALL THE WORKERS who came
early, stayed late, had extra meetings and practices with the
children to insure that they were prepared. Because of your
efforts, along with that of the children, 4 people gave their
lives to Jesus Sunday morning! Can someone praise the
Lord with me????
SUNDAY EVENING we had a wonderful time of fellowship.
I know some don’t understand the importance of that, but
fellowship among believers is so vitally important. It is an
opportunity to build relationships, strike up friendships, and
reinforce bonds that exist between family and friends.
Thanks to all who helped in any way. SPECIAL THANKS to
Donna Burdette and Kids of Faith Drama Team for sharing a
brand new drama with us. It was POWERFUL!!!!
